The Scottish Government's concern for Community Safety brings it close to Neighbourhood Watch.
NW is an example of the citizens taking steps to ensure that they can live in safe communities with a healthy Community Spirit.
A Neighbourhood Watch Scheme is one of the cheapest and most effective crime prevention initiatives.

Our Constitution
The GNWA Constitution is approved by the Inland Revenue and the Scottish Charity Regulator.
The association members are mostly co-ordinators of Watches in Grampian. It is run by
a committee of volunteer members and representatives of partner organisations.
We pass out information on crime prevention and start and support Watches. All members
are encouraged to participate in the running of GNWA. The Annual General Meeting is held in early November.
You can request a copy of the constitution by emailing grampiannwa@tiscali.co.uk
