- A warning from one of our members in view of the current fuel prices.

The rising cost of fuel of all types increases the risk of theft of fuel.   Guard your supplies.   But hoarding cans of fuel in your garage may invalidate your insurance !

INVISIBLE  WATCH  SCHEMES

Some residents do not wish their street or part of, or a block to have Neighbourhood Watch signs, or NW stickers on windows, or any other indication of a NW presence.

WHY ?

It is because in certain districts, often in urban areas, the crime prevention aspect of NW is not welcome.   Criminals feel uncomfortabls to have in the vicinity anyone allied to crime prevention and law enforcement.   Fear of vandalism may discourage overt showing of logos etc.

SO  IS  IT  STILL  A  WATCH ?

Yes.   Such a watch has the full support of Neighbourhood Watch Orgs and the police.
