Locking  Doors  and  Windows

In a surprising number of cases -
Houses or flats are robbed with no forced entry.

The thief just enters through an unlocked (and sometimes open) door or window.

This type of theft is wholly avoidable.

It's just a matter of cultivating good habits
(keeping doors and windows locked)
and abandoning bad habits
(leaving doors and windows unlocked)

Did you know that a shed or garage is as inviting as a house to a thief ?

It will contain items which can be sold for cash.
The lock is likely to be flimsy or easily forced.
It is less likely to be alarmed.
It may contain tools which can be used to break into a house.

and

A house may be broken into just to obtain the car keys.
